  “That’s just the problem. I checked the source, and it would seem the images on screen did not arise from the optical systems, but rather amongst the neurosomatic circuit in the Ningal Cells. We never really ruled out the possibility that our biocomputer would produce unreliable results.”

  “You must be wrong!” Verma looked at Gedanken E in despair.

  “I’m not wrong.” Namput sighed again. “This data is all a dream – the product of a highly imaginative computer’s mind. The Octacube is not a messianic escape hatch from this world. In our haste, we exchanged one illusion for another.”
